Casa Maya Kaan is located in the Boca Paila section of the Sian Kaan Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This stunning home is situated on one of the most pristine and beautiful beaches along the Riviera Maya. Uniquely designed for groups of families or friends who want to get away from it all, Casa Maya Kaan will surely exceed your expectations. The interior theme is that of the Mexican Caribbean; local hardwoods, stone, river rock, soft pastel colors and large windows all come together to create an atmosphere of casual elegance. Luxurious furnishings accented with splashes of Mexican color complete the decor of the villa.

The villa is outfitted with all the modern amenities of home. The downstairs has a large open floor plan with a living area which includes two comfy sofas (can convert to two queen sleeper sofas), an entertainment area with a large flat panel TV, a grand dining room which can seat up to 20, and a chef inspired kitchen designed with the ability to cook large feasts or smaller family meals. The kitchen has all top appliances including a Viking stove, double ovens, Sub Zero refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, etc. A long Zapote wooden bar between the kitchen and dining room provides a serving area as well as additional seating for the youngsters in the group.

As magnificent as the indoor spaces are, let's step outside. The owners have taken full advantage of the location and magnificent surroundings by creating outdoor living areas all over the property. There are shade palapas, chaise loungers and five King size outdoor beach beds. There are beach toys and goggles for the kids, kayaks and boats for guest use, and of course the biggest pool in the area...the Caribbean Sea. Sandy beach/sandy entrance leads to azul waters and a coral reef teeming with life. Boca Pailla is also a nesting area for 2 species of endangered sea turtles. If you are here during the summer and fall months, please be respectful of marked nests and hopefully you will be lucky enough to see a mama lay her eggs or a nest hatch. Please do not use bright lights at night or flash photography.

The Master bedroom has a king size bed and a large sitting area. There is a flat panel TV in the sitting area that can rotate to the bed area when needed. The built in desk sits beneath a great window which provides a fabulous view of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The ensuite bathroom has a round Japanese soaking tub as well as a walk in rain shower. The vanity has double sinks and sits beneath a window framing the ocean.

The two upstairs guest bedrooms each have two Queen Beds plenty of closet space and private showers and vanities. The commode is shared between the two rooms.

The fourth Bedroom is located downstairs and has a Double Bed, closet space and a full ensuite bath.

If you feel the need to get out and socialize, shop or dine in a restaurant, Tulum beach restaurants are about 20-25 minutes north. Within Tulum town, 30 minutes from the Villa, there are a bunch of great restaurants and shops. For those who want to do some exploring in the area there is plenty to do. Take a ferry ride out of Playa del Carmen to Cozumel for the day, play golf at the nearby Riviera Maya Golf Club, go for a jungle ATV ride, zipline, swim in cenotes and more!
